Over the past 20 years Subo Guha has served in various executive roles in the areas of virtualization, systems management and server technologies at CA Technologies, Dell, Egenera and NCR. Currently Subo serves CA Technologies as vice president of Product Management for the Virtualization and Automation Customer Solutions Unit. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy, products and solutions in the company’s virtualization management and cloud automation portfolios. Prior to CA Technologies, Subo was senior vice president at Egenera Inc, a data center automation company, driving all industry partnerships and ecosystem development. Before that, Subo was an executive at Dell for 10 years and was part of the original server team that helped propel the company from to #1 from #10 in market share within 18 months. Prior to Dell, Subo was director of Strategic Planning for NCR's Computer Systems Group (CSG), responsible for developing the direction of CSG's computer solutions. Subo earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Darla Moore School of Business, a Master’s in Engineering from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s in Mineral Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Subo has over 16 major publications in esteemed MIS journals, including a book chapter. He also has been a speaker at several industry events in the areas of systems management and virtualization.
