Jan Christiansson is Director of Solution Sales at CA Technologies, tasked with developing Service Management strategies and propositions for Europe. Jan has over 20 years of IT experience in various industries and has been working with ITIL and Service Management since 1998 and at CA since Y2K in services, presales and sales roles.
After Mathematics and Computer Science studies at Uppsala University, Jan spent three years as a Software Engineer developing software for IAR System, the world's leading provider of software tools for embedded systems. The following four years Jan was employed by one of the major listed private equity companies in Sweden designing Activity Base Costing models for financial analysis. Beginning 1993, Jan managed development of spatial information reference systems for a Civil Engineering company. Before ending up at CA, Jan also spent three years as an Architect for Tieto, a major Nordic Service Provider, working primarily with Service Management and Systems Management implementations.
