Brian Bakstran is vice president of product marketing at CA, responsible for the eHealth suite of solutions. Prior to this role, he ran the North America Field Marketing activities including operations, branding/marketing campaigns, communications, events, tele-prospecting and business unit planning. His responsibilities span across all marketing channels, which include direct sales, resellers, distributors, global solution integrators and value channels. Prior to joining CA in 2005, Brian was director of worldwide corporate marketing for Concord Communications, a global software company, where he led marketing and telesales initiatives. He also was instrumental in a prior position with Ziplink, Inc. as part of the senior management team that helped launch the company’s successful $50 million IPO. Brian also held senior level marketing positions with Beansprout Networks, Nortel Networks and Digital Equipment Corporation. Brian served on the board of directors for The Wellness Cancer Institute of Boston. He enjoys running, golfing, reading and spending time with family and friends.
