At CA World yesterday, we announced three new software-as-a-service offerings to help our customers rapidly and cost-effectively maximize the business value of their software implementations. We're eager to share this news with you because CA GRC Manager is one of the three new offerings we're pleased to bring to market - available today.

SaaS, also known as software "on demand," is a model in which software is developed, hosted and operated for use by customers over the Internet. Customers do not own the software itself, but rather pay to use it.

CA GRC Manager On Demand is a SaaS version of our solution for managing critical risk and compliance initiatives across the enterprise. You can learn more about CA GRC Manager here.

At a time when regulations are increasing in number and risk and compliance management are more complex than ever, CA GRC Manager On Demand allows customers to rapidly implement a solution to help comprehensively govern business operations""from IT and beyond. This SaaS version enables organizations to leverage the full functionality and benefits of CA GRC Manager, including a centralized system to manage and store corporate policies, improve compliance with those policies and manage the risks associated with non-compliance, while accelerating end-user adoption and time to value.

We also announced CA Clarity PPM On Demand, which has already seen significant customer adoption since it was introduced in April 2008, and CA Instant Recovery On Demand. CA plans to continue expanding its roster of SaaS solutions, based on customer need and the value customers can derive.

Check out the official announcement to learn more. InformationWeek also covered our news here, and eWEEK covered it here.
