Next week, the CA ecoSoftware team will be participating in the Enterprise Carbon Accounting event, co-hosted by Greentech Media and Groom Energy.  The event takes place next Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport.  You can learn more about the event and register to attend here http://www.greentechmedia.com/events/live/enterprise-carbon-accounting/

The event series kicked-off in February with a symposium in Boston, which my colleague Peter Gilbert, VP of CA ecoSoftware, and I attended.  We were very impressed with the caliber of speakers, sessions and attendees, and decided we’d like to participate again as an exhibitor.  If you plan to attend, be sure to drop by our exhibit for a demo of our CA ecoGovernance solution.

In addition, Peter will be sharing his insights as a panelist during the “Emerging Trends in Software Solutions to Manage Carbon” session, which runs from 2:15pm–2:45pm PT.  Several vendor experts will share their experiences managing energy and carbon with new software solutions. The panelists will also engage in a discussion on the current state – and expected future – of software solutions for GRI, Carbon, Cap-and-Trade, Offsets, Energy and LCA.  Based on the set of experts, we anticipate this will be a lively discussion!

Looking forward to another great ECA event next week.  Hopefully we’ll see you there.
