The ITSMF e-Symposium is the IT Service Management Forum's monthly online conference. This month, I'm pleased and proud to be one of the speakers. The title of my session is "So How Do I Bake the Cake of IT and Business Integration?"
This session will look at the critical element in your ITSM implementation and what is driving customer value through business integration leveraging processes such as Service Level Management and the Service Catalog as your primary vehicles for delivering value. The realities are that you can expend significant resources on many perceived Service Levels when the business may only care about a subset and experience has shown us that the catalog can be the vehicle to truly foster business and IT communications and synergies.
